Suppose the name "Nikon 28mm lens f/2.8D AF "is a simple lens and no zoom, which is commonly known as the main target name. The name can be divided into different segments, the first is that 28mm lens focal length. If this lens has a zoom function, the name would have been more like 70-200mm, suggesting the wide-angle (70mm) and telephoto (200 mm) lens focal length.
The next part of the name, f/2.8 is the maximum size of the lens opening, the higher the f number, the faster of the lens. A lens is good for high-speed low-light photography because it allows more light is directed towards the sensor. o If you like the capture of small objects like flowers, butterflies, bees, then you should go for the macro lens with optical zoom capabilities.
o For the purpose of travel, you can choose the zoom capabilities that offer great Mega zoom, both optical and digital.
