New models from Toshiba Regza LCD TVs
Toshiba LCD TV ZV650 Sequence: 42ZV650U / 47ZV650U / 52ZV650U
Toshiba will launch three new LCD TV flat screen in April. While they sound good and all, can not help but feel overwhelmed by their characteristics rather simple. Does not help that are pushing a refresh rate of 240Hz false, either.
The Toshiba REGZA LCD TV series ZV650 are a mixture of the most fascinating features that require a heavy consideration. The series ZV650 comprises three models, the 42-inch 42ZV650U the 47ZV650U ZV650U 47-inches and 52-52 inches. The first two models are suggested retail price of $ 1,299 and $ 1,699 respectively, the price of 52-inch model is not yet available, but most likely it will be more than $ 2,000.
The three available TV ZV650 obtained in April.
Besides the distinctions in size, ZV650 all versions have exactly the same basic functionality-set. These LCD TVs are the first Toshiba use an LED backlight. By replacing conventional fluorescent lighting used in the LCD flat screen TV, Toshiba consumption significantly decreased energy ZV650 versions compared to their predecessors. LED backlights are also brighter and longer lasting fluorescent counterparts. Energy saving makes the sequence according to Energy Star ZV650 3. standards for energy consumption. If you worried about your electric bill each month, the television should not ZV650 have a significant impact on consumption.
All three versions have a resolution of 1080p high definition. In TVs under 50 inches, this type of decision is a bit excessive, but today is difficult to get 40-inch TVs that do not.
ZV650 models have many connections for accessories such as four HDMI inputs. This is enough to install a Blu-ray player, game console, camcorder, HD, and cable or satellite television high. Toshiba integrated two analog HD component inputs as well, in case you need an extra bedroom.
Two tickets to help nontraditional ZV650 TVs include: an SD card slot and USB port. Toshiba has integrated USB input to allow viewers to set their own content downloaded media such as videos, photos or music recordings on a USB key or external hard drive and connect immediately to television. The TV is capable of decoding video in MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and DivX, and JPEG images and MP3 music files. The SD card slot allows photo viewing JPEG image files.
You may find, however, two main functions that require a skeptical eye. The first is ClearScan Toshiba 240Hz refresh rate. The details are sketchy, but it seems that this alleged 240Hz 240Hz specification is not really, but rather effect "240Hz" has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, along with "scanning backlight" by using LED backlighting. What does this mean? Frankly, you probably do not mean anything. It seems that advertising technical gibberish. Although the series could ZV650 reach 240 Hz, just Overkill. 120hz is only the incremental cost associated with it, let alone twice. Do not be fooled by the specification of this kind of fantasy.
The other feature is "Deep Lagoon design," said Toshiba is inspired by nature, somehow. The design produces a deep lagoon a cast of all the outer edges of the TV with his glasses with curved support points behind. It is quite attractive looking, but is only cosmetic and do not affect quality of the screen.
Overall, the number ZV650 is not the most exciting line of new televisions to debut in 2009. There are a number of new innovations attractive as a USB input, but also roll their eyes inducing flowers ClearScan function 240. Compared to real progress in the production aesthetic and ultra-thin models Samsung and LG and Vizio fixed broadband enabled, these televisions Toshiba seems clear.
